Movement in theog and Beja –
- In 1898, the beja people arrested against thakur and captured two soldiers of state
- Uday chand suppressed this movement
- In1898-farmers protested against the disturbances in settlement in theog thakurai and refused to give up
- Revolt in dadra kawar
- In region which bounded with garhwal of bushahar in 1906 revolted in dodra kwar
- Administered by Raja to ranbahadur Singh –resident in powari village in Kinnaur.

Farmars Movement in Kunihar and Movement against Begar
- 1920-farmer protested against atrocites of administration of Kunihar State
- People raised Voice Against Rana
- State govt suppressed movement with help of British
- 1921 baba kanshi ram and satyanand nand stokes from kot garh raised voice slavery
- Satyanand stokes launched agitation in hill states against begar
- Held conference in rampur
- After this king padam singh assured resignation of residency Theog
- October 1926-public protest against administration of Rana padamchand in Theog
- Leader was his brother Mian khadak Singh
- Later battle fell loosely and khadak singh settled in khaneti
- 1927 –main khadak singh again started movement in khaneti
- Rana son karamchand and rajmata support people in open farm

- Salisbury sent police to shimla and arrested kharak singh
Mass movement in Suket
- Kings ugrasen wazir narottam was tyrannical and punished brahmin families . People opposed and demand to arrest him
- Rudrasen also opposed
- King remove and assigned dhangul as wazir and also collected heavy penalties from upper class
- People kept him in some region for tweleve days
- King fined him 25000 and punished for 9months
- 1878-rudrasen become king and dhangul wazir and collect tax
- People demand justice but king did not support people
- People of dynasty supported people and remove by king
- When situation Jallandhar Commisioner Tremletrait came and investigated whole situation .wazir dhangul removed and detained to activists of karsog
- People adopted policy of non cooperation . After rexamination king removed
- Mian jawahar came back from kangra
Suket movement of 1924
- Suket ruler’s king laxman Sen
- Begar system was in Great swing
- Laxman punishment law was run by name of king
- When limits of taxes , rent exhausted , general public caught the path of conflict led by Mian Ratan singh Of baned
- People also participated
- Laxman sen took army from punjab in sept 1924
- British came with gorkhas and peshawaris
- Colonel michigan also brought soldiers from dharamshala
- Ratna singh associates were arrested and kept in Jallandhar , Multan
Nalagarh movement
- King ishwar singh –throne 1877
- Ghulam kadir was wazir and made new taxes and increased land taxation
- People dissentment and made situation of unrest
- British govt intervened and reached nalagarh and suppressed movement ,gabbed ruler and driven crowd
- King removed the wazir and reduced tax
- In 1918 –mass movement in hill areas of nalagarh against grassland laws and forest laws
- Raja jogindra singh and deputy chaudhary ramji lal cannot suppress movement
- British movement suppressed this movement
- People adopted non cooperation policy
Farmer movement in Chamba
- During shyam singh –peasent movement in chamba
- King shyam singh and deputy govind ram a huge increase in land lease on farmers
- Begar was also increased
- The person from every family used to work for six months
- Upper class was exempted
- People requested to reduce people of balana and bhatiyat village also participated
- People refused to levy and stopped paying salaries
- Non cooperation movement
- British suppressed movement specially lahare commissioner
- Leaders of movement was larja bassi and bilu arrested
Public movement in bilaspur
- In 1930-arose due to settlement of land in bilaspur
- People of Pargana was also protest against settlement
- Refused to give free wood, tax to employees of settlement
- People of bahadurpur got fed up and broke the accessories of patwaris
- Council chairman did not handle this situation due to huge tax
- Edward wakefield sent to bilaspur by some soldiers on secretary of james fitz patrick from lahore
- People caught some agitators in namhol
- Some were detained and this called dandra movement
Land of Sirmaur movement
- In the year 1878Munshi nandlal and munshi Fateh Singh started a settlement in sirmaur Under era of Shamsher Prakash
- First settlement of state
- When settlement started in area.People would increase the taxation
- Therefore Sangdahs nominee Achbu and Pritam singh fought for settlement staff and prevented them for work on land
- Tried to capture settlement Munshi Jeet singh .So the settlement staff went back to nahan and met king
- The king tried to convince landlords
- Find the king sent soldiers from Nahan to capture the rebels
- In addition ,the king has already informed the supritendents of hill states in Shimla
- After seeing police returned home and their leaders achbu and pritam singh got caught by shimla suprintendent and sent to nahan
- In may 1929 , people of Poanta and Nahan organised movement under leadership of Pt .Rajendera Dutt In protest against arbitary Land Settlement in sirmaur.People of poanta sent advertisemnts to King Amar Prakash and British govt
Jhugga Movement
- Movement From 1818 to 1888 , in Bilaspur , There was Jhugga movement against Amar chand .
- In order to Oppose the atrocities of king
- The Brahmins of gehdawi started living in Jhugga and kept suffering with flag of devoted deity on Jhugga and Brahmins burnt deadby lilting fire in jhuggas before king could arrest them
- The public broke up and in the end ,the king had make an administrative resistence and eliminate administrative system
- Land movement in Bhagal
- In 1897 , In the time raja dhyan singh of Bhagal state , during period of 1897 and 1902
- People started aginst excessive landlords
- Due to excessive tax , killing of wild animals , lack of pasture, increase land rent
- Brahmins of village of barog made huge sacrifices in village
- British govt intervened
- Revolt spread in bhagal in1905when king vikram sat on throne in1904 he was minor in his age
State management in the hands of Mian Maan singh started with patchwork of raj family, but later all kanet revolted aginst britishers
- In the end english suprintendent of hill states of shimla went to arki of bhagal state and alm the agitation
- Mian sher singh was transferred from kumarsein to council of member
- Started land settlement
