Subathu
- Subathu –located in solan
- 1814-1815 – gorkhas cantonment
- After defeat of gorkhas near malaon – establish subathu cantonment in 1815
- Nusiri regiment
- Before Hindustan tibet road formation this cantment had great importance
- Lt Ross was appointed political observer of the region
- Kennedy lived here before leaving for Shimla
- William Bentinck 1829 visits Subathu
- Kasauli Located in solan 2nd cantoment made by britishers Established in 1842 Soldiers of Kasauli looted the treasure from here in 1857 and joined Jatog's Nasiri Battalion
Jatog

- British soldiers captured it in the Gorkhas War of 1814-1815 and formed the Gorkha Regiment.

- Prisoners were kept here during the time
- Its name is Daag e Shahi
